Hey, kids! Welcome to my shamelessly self-promoting web site! Over the years, I've been known to write comic books like Dracula vs. The Grad, Dinky on the Road and The Grad Yearbook '96, among many others. I've also appeared as a background player in such films as Dawn of the Dead, Resident Evil: Apocalypse and Land of the Dead. I've been known to "schmooze" with celebrities that range from Adam West to Zack Snyder! But in my true identity...I'm just an elementary school teacher havin' a lot of fun. I hope you enjoy looking around the site, there really is a lot to see!

The book features an interview with me (of all people...) and there's still more! I also spent a few days on the set of George Romero's newest zombie epic this past month and took part in some very gruesome scenes! I've included a picture of me from Land of the Dead here (that's me at far left...) but I can't wait to see the stuff I did in this new movie on the big screen! Yowza!

080824 - I had a blast at FanExpo Canada at the Metro Toronto Convention Center as usual! I got a load of pictures with a bunch of celebrities: Henry Winkler, Sid Haig, Aaron Douglas, Rick Green, Lloyd Kaufman, Kristy Swanson, Edward James Olmos, Erin Gray, Jeremy Bulloch, Renée O'Connor and Brent Spiner! I also traded some Grad comics to help off-set the cost of a Class of Nuke 'Em High Box Set from those fine people at Troma! Faboom!

080822 - I'm a guest of FanExpo Canada at the Metro Toronto Convention Center on August 22nd and August 24th. I'm looking forward to meeting the numerous celebrities and going through all the cool collectibles! Mark Innes of Blind Bat Press has a table next to mine and will have some of my books in case I can't be found!

080812 - Every now and then I like to bring back and old pic and reminisce. Here's one from way back in 1986! I met Adam West at the Toronto Convention Centre and he was actually dressed as Batman! Burt Ward was there too and he was dressed as Robin. Morgana the Kissing Bandit was also there - but that's another story! I met Adam West again a few years later and he signed my photo. An awesome experience!

080801 - There was more GWN Wrestling this past Sunday at the Germania Club Banquet Centre in Hamilton. Ash Draven was defeated by James Masterson! The Keltic Kid defeated Timebomb and Igor Sonovovich in a Triple Threat Match! The Inhuman held his own against The Falcors in an unexpected Handicap Match! Big Mick Blackwell defeated The Canadian Crusader - Justin Case in a Number One Contender Match!

Donovan Jack O'Shea remained the GWN Champion after defeating Manny "The Pirhana" Pererra in a Three Falls Match. Check out the pic of me, as ring announcer Johnny Riel, hiding from The Falcors and the vice-president of Champions Unlimited - the infamous Jay Moore.

080719 - More GWN Wrestling is on its way on Sunday, July 27, 2008 at the Germania Club Banquet Centre (863 King St. E. between Sherman Ave. and Holton Ave. in Hamilton). Doors open at 1:30 p.m. and tickets are $8. I will once again act as the ring announcer! There will be a GWN Heavyweight Title Match between Donovan Jack O'Shea and "The Piranha" Manny Perrera. Check out the pic of me as ring announcer Johnny Riel from the last show!

080510 - GWN Wrestling has always been awesome, but now it's even more exciting for me, since I'm now their new ring announcer! I had an extremely fun time being part of their latest event and look forward to more! I'm going by the name Johnny Riel as part of my ring persona! The next show is in July and I should be announcing again. Here's a run down of all the matches that took place last night at the Royal Canadian Legion in Hamilton...

The Assassin battled Vindicator Creed! The Keltic Kid blasted Igor Sonovovich! James Masterson, Justin Case and Time Bomb were in an amazing triple threat match! Showtime Johnny Knox attacked Mickey Tuff Stuff! Donovan Jack O'Shea and The Inhuman struggled to a double DQ finish! See you in July for more whallopin' wrestling action!

071127 - Last week Matt Hayes and CHCH News were in my classroom to celebrate the opening of the new Lawfield School. You may remember that my old school was badly damaged by a tornado! 070925 - GWN Wrestling is back after way too long an absence! I went to see the newest show on Sunday, September 23rd.
